| Riding for the Disabled Association of Singapore | 1 Jul 2006 12:00am - 2 Sep 2006 12:00am | RDA | Hi Volunteers,
North West CDC is pleased to partner with the Riding for the Disabled Association of Singapore (RDA) to offer volunteering opportunities to residents who are keen to spend their Saturday mornings or afternoons for 10 weeks in a meaningful way.
RDA provides therapeutic horse riding lessions to children and adults with disabilities from all over Singapore. Volunteers are needed to either lead the horse or walk alongside the riders to increase their confidence and encourage them to participate!
The new term will be starting from 1 July - 2 Sept. Volunteers need to be above 16 yrs of age and be ready to commit for 10 weeks. Training will be provided.

The Singapore Biennale 2006 (SB2006), Singapore's inaugural international biennale of contemporary art, will open to the public on 4 September 2006. This major international contemporary art exhibition will feature more than 80 artists, and artist collectives from over 35 countries including Singapore.
Application to be a volunteer for SB2006 is currently on-going. Singapore Biennale Secretariat will like to invite anyone from all walks of life to participate in Singapore Biennale's Volunteer Programme. The SB2006 Volunteer will be at the frontline of SB2006's efforts in bringing art into everyday living. By interacting with the public, as well as being central to the behind-the-scenes work, Volunteers can create a clearer understanding of the importance of art.
